Privacy notice

MeulenWorks is a Twin Cities, Minnesota company. We help small businesses put AI to work inside their own Office 365, and through MeulenWorks Design & Build we design and prototype plastic parts. This notice explains what we collect through meulen.works and meulenworks.net and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you send a request through a form on this site: your name, email address, company (if you give one), the kind of work, quantity or team size, timing, and your description.
When you email us: whatever you choose to send, including attachments.
When you browse: anonymous page-view statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or track you across other sites, and we cannot identify you from it.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To reply to you, prepare a quote or proposal, and do the work you ask for.
To send you an automatic receipt with a copy of your request when you use a form.
To keep records of quotes, orders and invoices, as tax and business law require.
We don't send marketing email unless you ask to hear from us.

Who helps us handle it

Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the forms and provides the page-view statistics.
Office 365 carries our email and stores our business files.
Discord notifies us that a new request has arrived. If our email is unavailable, it carries the request itself as a backup.
AI tools help us sort incoming requests and draft replies: a model that runs on our own computer, and Anthropic's Claude. A person reviews every AI-drafted reply before it is sent.
Manufacturing partners receive only the files and details needed to make a part, when we source it from them for your order.

How long we keep it

Requests that don't become projects: up to 2 years.
Quotes, orders, invoices and related emails: 7 years after the job, as tax records.
Design files: while we work together, plus 3 years, or as your quote's design-file terms say.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to keep records the law requires, such as invoices.

Client systems

This notice covers this website and our own email. Work we do inside a client's own systems, such as their Office 365, is covered by that client's agreement with us.

Confidential projects

Changes

If this notice changes, the date below changes with it.
